During the first year of the two-year Master of Arts in Design Innovation programme, you will confront the expanded role of design and critically explore strategies, convergences, and fields of action. The central theme of the designer as an enabler will guide your study of new methodologies, contexts, and tools and their relationship in producing thoughtful, synergistic interventions.
During your second year of the programme, you will apply your knowledge of innovation and of complex relationships, tools, and technologies while expanding your knowledge with a long term (visions) and mid-short term (society) approaches. You will be expected to define and support your design propositions with solid theoretical foundations to deliver professional projects.
You will engage in workshops and labs, from Systemic Design and Design Futures to Creative Direction and Tangible Interaction, and you’ll participate in an intensive bootcamp. The second year also includes a 12-credit final thesis project. Among the optional activities, you can choose a professional learning experience or internship. The best final thesis project will be featured in FRAME Magazine.
